Swans, firetrucks and raisins!

What a gorgeous morning I had! I met a wonderful family at Swan Lake today for a Springtime photo session and we had a great time! Their son had just turned two years old and so we planned a morning full of activities - feeding swans and geese, spotting turtles and squirrels, playing on the playground. He was absolutely in love with feeding the birds some of the bread I brought along.

We were a little concerned about it being wet and cold this morning but the weather couldn't have been any better. And the cherry blossoms and azaleas were all in bloom, making it a great setting for pictures. I absolutely love this place and could spend an entire day there!

Here are a few quick images from our session this morning. Isn't he an absolute doll?!

And if your subject is having a bashful moment, nothing like a quick capture of those Sunmaid Raisins to make an excellent kitchen photo!
